Installing an eSIM on your smartphone is faster than changing a physical SIM card. Below is the official walkthrough for both Apple iOS and Android smartphones.

Setting Up on Apple iPhone (iOS 16, 17, 18+)

  1. Connect your iPhone to a stable Wi-Fi network (such as your home or hotel Wi-Fi).
  2. Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data).
  3. Tap Add eSIM (or Add Cellular Plan).
  4. Select Use QR Code and scan the personal QR code displayed on your eSIMCrown checkout confirmation or email.
  5. Label your new eSIM as "Travel" or the destination name (e.g. "Turkey Travel").
  6. Set your Primary SIM for Default Voice Line, and choose your new Travel eSIM for Cellular Data.
  7. Upon arrival at your destination, ensure Data Roaming is turned ON for the travel eSIM.

Setting Up on Android (Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, Xiaomi)

  1. Connect to Wi-Fi.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager (or Network & Internet > SIMs).
  3. Tap Add eSIM > Scan QR code from service provider.
  4. Point your camera at the QR code and tap Add / Confirm.
  5. Enable Mobile Data and Data Roaming on your eSIM once you land.
